On the 13th and 14th of June 2022, Africa and the world, through more than 1,800 high-level decision-makers from 70 countries, met in Abidjan (Côte d'Ivoire) for Africa CEO Forum, the largest international meeting of the African private sector.
For its 2022 edition, Africa CEO Forum, nicknamed by some media as the "African Davos", invited economic decision-makers to propose solutions for Africa's development, in a world in full crisis and in accelerated change, while respecting the environment. During this major meeting, heads of state and 300 CEOs, including Delphine Traore,Regional CEO of Allianz Africagave their vision for the implementation of strategies that can sustainably revive African growth.
Particularly awaited on the contribution of insurance, Delphine shared her vision on "the Africa we want" through the implementation of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), during a panel, alongsideAbdou DIOP, CEO of Mazars, Kuseni Dlamini, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the South African Group Massmart Holdings Ltd and Chairman of Aspen Pharmacare Holdings Ltd, Samba Bathily, Founder and CEO of Africa Development Solutions (ADS) Group and Abdelaziz Makhloufi, CEO of CHO GROUP.
Delphine, based on Allianz's projects in Africa and her experience, also suggested solutions for a successful implementation of insurance for the benefit of this common market of more than 2.5 billion Africans.
In addition, Delphine took part in the Woman Working for Change, a meeting and mentoring framework for women leaders on the continent.
